Global Engineering Fronts

Scientific and technological innovation is an important force to change the world, engineering front is an important guideline to the future direction of engineering science and technology. Aiming at the front of engineering science and technology in the world and vigorously promoting the innovation and development of engineering science and technology can effectively respond to major global challenges and boost the sustainable development of human society.
Since 2017, the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) has set up the Global Engineering Fronts Program which aims to bring into full play the wisdom of the academicians of the Academy of Agriculture of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and agricultural scientists around the world, to research and identify the global agricultural science and technology front, and serve the green development of agriculture.
We hereby invite international and domestic experts to actively pay attention to this column and give advice and suggestions.

　　科技创新是改变世界的重要力量，工程前沿是工程科技未来方向的重要指引。瞄准世界工程科技前沿，大力推动工程科技创新发展，可有效地应对全球重大挑战，助推人类社会可持续发展。
　　中国工程院自2017年以来设立全球工程前沿项目，旨在发挥中国工程院农业学部院士乃至全世界农业科学家智慧，研判全球农业科技前沿，服务农业绿色发展。
