Rhizobiont for high nutrient use efficiency
Dr. Lin Zhang is a professor of Plant Nutrition at China Agricultural University. His research mainly focuses on the cross-kingdom interactions of plant–mycorrhizal fungi–bacteria, aiming at using the rhizobiont theory for improving nutrient use efficiency in the plant–soil system. He has published 50 peer-reviewed papers in domestic and international high-profile journals such as Nature Reviews Microbiology, Trends in Plant Science, Microbiome, The ISME Journal and New Phytologist. He is currently the chair of Soil–Plant Nutrient Professional Committee of Soil Science Society of China and the vice chair of Rhizosphere Nutrition Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Plant Nutrition and Fertilizer Science
Dr. Lixing Yuan is a professor of Department of Plant Nutrition, National Academy of Agriculture Green Development, College of Resources and Environmental Sciences, China Agricultural University. He obtained his Ph.D degree from the University of Hohenheim in Germany. He has been engaged in research on understanding the physiological, genetic, and molecular mechanisms of nutrient use efficiency in plants, particularly those related to the development of root system architecture and the processes of nutrient uptake and use. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers in international academic journals, including Nature Plants and Plant Cell, and also served as associate editors for Frontiers in Plant Science and aBIOTECH
