General Information
Digital literacy has become a cornerstone for teachers, enabling them to effectively integrate technology into pedagogical practices, and to make the most use of digital tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. In 2022, the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China issued the industry standard for teachers’ digital literacy, defining the core connotation and indicator framework of teachers’ digital literacy, and guiding the development of teachers’ digital literacy.
The continuous improvement of teachers’ digital literacy is of great significance for establishing high-quality and professional teaching teams in the digital era and accelerating educational digitization. The advancing integration of intelligent technology into education provides new methods and innovative paths for teachers’ digital literacy improvement, which facilitates accurate evaluation and personalized development.
The main objective of this special issue is to bring together the new and innovative ideas, experiences, and findings from researchers and practitioners on all aspects of the Exploration of Methods and Paths for Improving Teachers’ Digital Literacy.
Subject Coverage
We invite authors to submit original research to this special issue in the following potential topics. The topics will include, but will not be limited to:
Large scale evaluation practice of teachers’ digital literacy
Evaluation method of teachers’ digital literacy based on multi-spatial data fusion
Strategies and paths for improving teachers’ digital literacy

Frontiers of Digital Education is an international academic journal, aiming at reflecting the dynamic trends in digital education policies, academic frontiers, and research hotspots from various countries. The journal explores key issues and challenges in digital education and technological innovation, establishing a distinctive platform for the dissemination and communication of significant achievements in digital education. This journal is dedicated to the contribution of the advancement of digital education.
