General Information
With the development of digital education, modern techniques are applied to nursing education in the past decades. The rapid technological advancement provides new opportunities to support teaching and learning. Literature on e-learning in nursing education has highlighted a variety of student experiences, emphasizing the benefits of flexibility, accessibility, and the potential for self-paced learning.
Therefore, with this special topic—shifting to digital education in nursing, we sought to provide insights into the applications of relevant research informing the rapid development, deployment and future of nursing teaching and learning. We also deliberately sought to include multiple perspectives by seeking authors with varying professional experiences, from diverse nationalities representing a global perspective inclusive of the challenge.

Frontiers of Digital Education is an international academic journal, aiming to reflect the dynamic trends in digital education policies, academic frontiers, and research hotspots from various countries. The journal explores key issues and challenges in digital education and technological innovation, establishing a distinctive platform for the dissemination and communication of significant achievements in digital education. The dedication of this journal lies in contributing to the advancement of digital education.
