Aims and Scope

Current Medical Science, a peer-reviewed general medical journal published by Huazhong University of Science & Technology, is committed to disseminating the latest advancements in medical science. The journal focuses on original, innovative and influential research across a broad spectrum of medical fields, including medicine, biomedicine, public health, and their interdisciplinary extensions. We also publish insightful reviews, comments, as well as special topic articles.

Areas of Focus

Current Medical Science welcome submissions in, but not limited to, the following areas:

· Mechanisms of Human Diseases: Studies uncovering the mechanisms of human diseases, particularly those revealing pathogenesis and potential therapeutic targets.

· Clinical Trials: Research on new treatments, medications, or medical techniques, as well as evaluations of existing therapies.

· Public Health & Global Health: Investigations into disease prevention and health promotion; research that addresses pressing and emerging global health challenges including, but not limited to, antimicrobial resistance, infectious diseases, chronic conditions, and aging.

· Others: We also value insightful reviews, comments, perspectives, and encourage publications of guidelines and consensus statements that offer evidence-based recommendations to the medical community.
