Application of quantitative determination of urinary proteins in the diagnosis of acute rejection following renal transplantation
Eight kinds of urinary proteins were determined after renal transplantation. The results demonstrated that the concentrations of 8 urinary proteins were markedly increased when acute rejection occurred. Increase in urinary proteins was noticed 0–7 days prior to establishment of clinical diagnosis. Of the 8 urinary proteins IgG and transferrin appeared first. The positive rates of IgG and C3, both being 93 %, were the highest among them. Provided the antirejection treatment was effective, the concentration of urinary proteins would drop rapidly, otherwise it would remain at high levels.
