As of January 1st, 2026, the title of this journal is changing to ENGINEERING Chemical Engineering. This change is part of our strategic effort to better reflect the journal’s expanded scope and evolving research community under the unified and prestigious ENGINEERING journal brand.

 

Please be assured that:

l  The journal’s Aims & Scope and submission system remain unchanged.

l  All articles—past and future—will continue to be indexed in SCIE without interruption. The new journal name (ENGINEERING Chemical Engineering) will receive its first impact factor (IF) in 2028. Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering (FCSE) will retain its IF from 2026 to 2028.

l  All citations and DOIs will be preserved and automatically redirected to the new title; no action is required from you or your institution.

l  A new ISSN will be assigned to ENGINEERING Chemical Engineering, but the former ISSN of Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering will always be linked to the historical archive. Your article’s DOI and bibliographic record will remain stable and traceable.

l  All manuscripts accepted from now on will be published under the new name.
