Background

Data factors, as a new type of production factors, significantly affect production, daily life, and social governance. Being the national strategy resources, the data factors have played an essential role in promoting the digital economy and driving industry digital transformation. Recently, both central and local governments have issued a number of documents to encourage the development of data factors. In response, the journal “Frontier of Compute Science” is organizing a special issue titled “Data Governance and Circulation for Data Factors”. This special issue aims to summarize, explore, and envision the techniques of data governance and circulation for data factors, thereby attracting more scholars to study these methodologies and promoting the comprehensive development of data factors.

Topic of Interests

This special issue focuses on the key technologies of data governance and circulation across various domains, such as industrial manufacturing, modern agriculture, commercial circulation, transportation, finance, science and technology. The corresponding techniques cover data governance theory, computing methods, systems, and platforms, as well as data security and privacy technology. The topics include, but are not limited to:

· Data governance and data quality: data cleaning and repairing; data quality evaluation.

· Multimodal data fusion: the integration of heterogeneous data, including texts, image, audio, video, 3D data, and GIS data.

· Data pricing: multi-objective optimization theory and intelligent approaches for data pricing.

· Data security: trusted mechanism for data governance, circulation, and evaluation; data privacy; secure sharing.

· Data management: novel data management and analysis methods and systems.
