    The article describes the development of technology for the manufacture of steel piston rings by cold plastic deformation during drawing. It defines conditions of thermal treatment at recrystallisation tempering, thermofixation and thermostabilization. The paper also considers the calculation of degree of plastic deformation at drawing and the foundation of a choice of tool steels. It reflects research in the field of thermochemical treatment methods of drawing rolls and piston rings.

    The article considers the relevance of the use of two-layer structures of spherical plugs of ball valves as well as the advantages of technology for their manufacture process-based on stamping over traditional methods. The experimental study showed the technological capability of manufacturing processes by metal forming billets and it also gives recommendations on the correlation of the outer and inner layers of the spherical shell plug ball valve.

    Manufacture of long hollow parts specified internal profile of the hard-deformable alloys based on process improvement of cold deformation of a tubular workpiece requires the development of science-based modes of technology to assure the quality of products, reduction of the complexity of manufacturing, steel intensity etc. Stress-strain state and energy-power parameters of the rolling-drawing process non-driven roller tubular billet on the profile mandrel is define by computer analysis that have been made. The shape and dimensions of mandrel corresponded to the inner surface of the rifle barrel with the polygon profile type. As a result, it has been developed and manufactured the corresponding technological device and has been manufactured the product by above method.

    The article describes the engineering method to obtain the correlation for the determination of stresses on the contact surfaces of the workpiece and the tool, the efforts of the extrusion of cavities by spherical die. It shows numerical simulations made ​​on computer simulation by the finite element method on examples of extrusion by spherical die of billets made of R6M5 (Р6М5) steel under the action of counter-pressure on the free surface of the workpiece. The paper contains the definition of the maximum counter-pressure through simulation that provides extrusion without destruction and the efforts of the processes, the distribution of stresses in the deforming tool and the stress-strain state, the degree of resource use of metal plasticity, as well as the final product dimensions. The article contains a description of the experiment on the extrusion billets of steel R6M5 (Р6М5) spherical die.

    This article describes a method flanging round holes in sheet blanks and profiles which consists of the steps of forming holes cold extrusion to produce a profiled workpiece, punching coffers and flanging.The product after the flanging has a constant wall thickness and a smooth cylindrical surface.The article contains an engineering method to determine the dependence for determining forces of flanging profiled billet spherical punch and the size of the source profile. It shows flanging holes processing profiled billet and flanging with thinning which was carried out by finite element method and it also shows the comparison of results of two methods.

    The paper presents results of determination and industrial verification of cooling cycles in thermomechanical processing (TMP) of steel AISI 4130, designed to produce good combination of strength and ductility directly after forging and quenching. The results indicate possibility of replacement costly high alloy steels with common grades offering higher strength in combination with good plasticity after cost-effective TMP cycles utilizing blast-air cooling from controlled forge end temperature.

    In this article the authors have proposed a mathematical model to calculate the thickness distribution of the product when drawing of axisymmetric parts in the stamp with multisection rotating discs for correction of technological parameters of the process. The model considers the mechanism of stress-deformed state, geometrical relations and approximation algorithm. Euler's method was used to solve the problem allowing determine the parameters of the next step of integration, basing in the previous results. This algorithm allows to make quick adjustments with the appearance of additional conditions and can be recommended for the calculation of the technological parameters of the technological process.

    Using the simulation results it was shown an optimal correlation of the size and porosity of powder compacts and also the amount of counterpressure recommended for the production of equal channel angular extrusion of workpieces with high-density of deformation zone that is large enough for subsequent direct extrusion powder of parts with high mechanical properties.The article defines the maximum depth of the cavity in direct extrusion through the research of plasticity resource. This paper describes the developed technology of manufacturing high-density parts of the "glass" type with the consistent application of the equalchannel angular and direct extrusion.

    In the design of metal forming processes it is widely used to obtain a linear model of damage accumulation and scalar failure criterion. The process of plastic deformation can be described by the kinetic equation of nonlinear dynamics for systems with a strong positive correlation. This paper considers the failure criterion and condition of deformation without destroying in multi-step process of plastic deformation. Check of applicability of criterion showed that it can be used for solving practical problems of processing of metal forming processes.

    We propose a parameter state of stress as the sum of the principal stresses relative to the odds of their influence. Influence coefficients are mechanically-mi material properties. Plasticity chart with this indicator is proposed to approximate the exponential function. Checking for different materials showed sufficient proximity of the experimental points to a diagram of plasticity. Recommendations are given for determining the coefficients of arbitrary types of tests. The minimum number of tests - 4.
