    By analysis of the component and structure of real high olefinic FCC naphtha, a technology of deep desulfurization and olefin saturation with minimal octane loss is developed, which is named RIDOS. The multifunctions of RIDOS technology are achieved by using a series of new catalysts, which show the good feed adaptability and operation flexibility. The results of the first commercial RIDOS unit show that an ultra-low sulfur (w(S)< 10 /μg/g), low olefins gasoline (φo<20%) is produced, while the road octane number loses only 1.3 unit. RIDOS technology provides the possibility for producing the clean fuels meeting most strict specifications.

    The author provides an analysis of the current digitization movement of the broadcasting television from the perspective of the information revolution. The author also gives his own viewpoints on various debatable issues in the digital television front, such as the relations between public platform and the paid platform, the unification of the service platform, the wholesale transformation, the import standard, self-developed standard, the unification of the DTV standard, etc. At the end, the author gives a second thought on the significance of the standardization in the digital age. The paper points out that, in the era of the digital revolution, it is the process of the digitization process that brings the progress to the technology and the society rather than the fact of the establishment of the digital standards. It also points out that the way of the standardization process from the industry age cannot fit in with that of the digital technology in the information age. A new way of thinking in the standardization process is needed to meet the change and characteristics of the information society.

    Quantum mechanics brings hope for the best on realization of faster-than-light (superluminal) Experimental examination of EPR article showes that behind the image some thing advance faster than the speed of light. It is highly important to study the superluminal problems. Theoretical and experimental facts have proved that it is possibleto drive a photon or a pulse traveling faster than light. It is expected that when the plasma is used as the potential barrier in the experiment, the superluminal phenomena may be occur. The paper suggests to conduct an experiment, so as to show the situations when the matter-wave particle (such as the electron) traveling through the potential barrier.

    This article explores the importance of agriculture in line with development of society. It uses examples of high productivity achieved in grain and cotton crops in Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang areas to show that the fundamental objective of agricultural science is to maximize crops through the most effective use of soil, fertilizer and water in gaining the greatest benefit from power of the sun. Agricultural science should take up relevant theories and methodologies from other sciences, such as biological science, earth science and economics. The use of information technology will have great benefits for agricultural science. It hopes the scientific communities of China can make a significant contribution to solving the problems facing our rural areas, farmers and agriculture itself.

    In this preliminary study, it is shown that for a reservoir on a river of rich runoff, such as the Yangtze, elaborate scheme of sediment management may be devised to substantially reduce reservoir deposition. The mathematical model applied in this investigation has been fairly well verified with long - term field data of sediment transport by unsteady flow in the Lower Yellow River. In view of the importance of TGP, however, further investigation with physical models and mathematical model of other versions is planned. Great financial benefits are involved.

    A modified Boussinesq equation is numerically studied. It is discretized by use of the predictor-corrector scheme. The numerical model applied to the propagation of waves over a submerged bar can produce results that are in general agreement with some laboratory measurements. The surface transformation of waves over the submerged bar is reproduced successfully by the numerical simulation. Comparison of numerical results with experimental data shows that the modified Boussinesq equation itself and the numerical solution method for it need to be studied further. These results can give some theoretical guidance to the applications of Boussinesq equation to wave propagation over complex topography in coastal areas.

    The S-N curve is the base of calculating fatigue structural life. Founding on physical mechanism, this paper presents a weighted least square method in which the weigh of a group of test data is inversely proportional to the length of the confidence interval. The calculating results show that the S-N curve which is gained by the least square method considering the effect of length of the confidence interval is more reliable and secure than the S-N curve which is gained by general least square method.

    A new method of constructing fuzzy neural network is presented and Rough set theory is applied to this method. Since Rough set theory has strong numeric analyzing ability and fuzzy neural network has exact function approaching ability, their combination can produce a neural network model with good intelligibility and fast convergence. First, some rules are acquired from given data set by rough set theory. Then, these rules are applied to constructing neural cell numbers and relative parameters in fuzzy neural network. Finally the initial network is trained by BP arithmetic and the whole network design is finished. Also in this paper, an example of nonlinear function approaching is discussed and the feasibility of this method is proved.

    Multi-method collaborative optimization algorithm based on embedding collaboration is advanced. It uses embedding structure to collaborate different kinds of optimization methods, and makes use of the collaboration effect among them to improve the optimization performance. A multimethod collaborative optimization algorithm base on embedding collaboration is designed, which is composed of genetic algorithm, pattern search method and Powell's method. Results show that multi-method collaborative optimization algorithm based on embedding collaboration obtains better global optimization performance than single optimization method.

    Under the condition of open boundary, pedestrian evacuation dynamics in crossing exit is simulated through the lattice-gas model of biased random walkers without back step. Attention is concentrated on the mean velocity of pedestrian flow while simulating and analyzing, for it is the key factor to study the fundamental rules between the boundary density and width of route and to estimate jam transition during evacuation. In the simulation, the jamming transitions are observed at the longitudinal route or latitudinal route or both routes when the longitudinal pedestrian boundary density increases under the constant values of latitudinal pedestrian boundary density. Fixing the width of latitudinal route, a series of critical boundary densities which indicate the jamming transition are gained under different values of width of longitudinal route. By plotting the relation in certain coordinate system, the phase diagram can be concluded, which can express the jamming transition clearly. It is found in the phase diagram that the longitudinal and latitudinal dynamical phase transitions present different patterns. In the end, it should be pointed that the simulation results in this paper will be helpful for the design of evacuation routes.

    This paper reviews the history of the extractive metallurgy of lead and describes the characteristics of modern lead smelting technologies. In view of the present situation of lead bullion smelting in China, and on the basis of years' research on the treatment of high-lead slag by YMG, the paper introduces the ISA-YMG smelting process for lead bullion, which is effective, energy-saving and clean, and provides the results of industrial tests of the YMG reduction smelting.

    Using the theoretical method of reliability-based robust optimization design (in Part 1), several axles in automobiles, such as half-axle, front-axle and back-axle housing are computed and the emulation results are analyzed. According to the method presented in this paper, the reliability-based robust optimization designs for automobile components in practical engineering are obtained.

    Heat-power is an impartment performance index to choose the gear reducer. The working efficiency of the gear reducer lies on the value of the heat-power when working with the temperature at which heat balance is achieved. Raising Heat-power will benefit working efficiency, and reduce the waste of energy sources. The formula to calculate efficiency is deduced, and the heat-power is tested by way of experiment. The heat-radiating equipments with the structures of plank-lumped and pipe-ranked are developed. On the basis of this, the methods are brought forward to raise heat-power of gear reducers considering the factors of designing, manufacturing and lubricating.

    This text studied the synthetic analysis for the regional geology investigating data and the image data of remote sensing of earth satellite and the other data. The authors mark and divide 5 kinds of structural system in the Taiwan region: (1) the structural system of the wreath form, (2) the structural system of the north and north east direction, (3) the structural system of the south and north direction, (4) the structural system of the north and east direction, (5) the structural system of the arc - shaped. By combination and assorting of structures, the generations of structural evolves and the formative time of structures are resumed and rebuilt. The geological developmental process is dicussed. It will provide new information to the study on the East Asia construction field and the tectonic plate movement as well as the mainland plank inside construct activity.

    Research and development trends of electrodeposited multifunctional composite materials are reviewed at home and abroad, including polybasic composite electrodeposition, pulse composite electrodeposition, pulse jet electrodeposition, electrodeposition of nano-powders and functional gradient materials. Results show that wear resistance, corrosion resistance and anti-high temperature oxidation of these kinds of composite coatings are much better than those of tranditional single metal coatings, alloy coatings and their composite coatings. They will have wide application prospects in the future.
