    Based on developing process of aero-optics, the background of the subject is introduced. The definition, intension, research object, research methods of the subject are proposed. The research contents are described, which include mechanism, calibration methods, calibration tests for aero-optic effects and optic window of the hypersonic aircraft. The theoretical research, engineering modeling, testing principle and testing methods in China are described in detail. Some representative results are given. At last, the application prospects and research tendency of the subject are suggested.

    Based on the description of epidemic diseases in the chapter of “The Story of Bian Que” in Records of Historian, the author has analyzed and explored the truthfulness of its background data and the possibility of the plague spreading at that time from both macro and micro angles. The symptoms of plague including chills and fever, the digestive symptoms and the symptoms in central nerve system made great influence on the formation of some doctrines in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) such as exopathic heat disease doctrine, internal injury of spleen and stomach doctrine and epidemic febrile disease doctrine. The course of exogenous febrile disease was similar to that of the plague, thus the theory of six meridians was formed. According to above phenomena, the author has explored the effect on the initial medical theory, primitive religion and culture due to the spreading of epidemic diseases from the angles of epidemiology, the theory of images and figures, complicated thought ways depending, as well as archaeological studies. Then the hypothesis of medicine originated from epidemic diseases was proposed. The author also put forward some opinions on the relationship between epidemic diseases spreading and traditional education of TCM, sustained development of TCM education, as well as the integration of TCM and WM.

    The seawall flood defense criteria both at home and abroad have been investigated and discussed. The failure of seawall is referred to six typical modes and the inferences of the wind wave and tide are analyzed closely on each mode. A rough estimate is suggested for encounter probability of wind/wave with highest tide. A three level criteria for seawall design is proposed, which comprehensively integrates the encounter probability, seawall structure performance and usage requirements and the potential risk. Based on the above-mentioned criteria an optimization design scheme of risk principle for seawall is provided.

    The recycling of waste household appliances (WHA) has aroused wide concern in China. Based on a brief introduction to the material composition, attachment and inclusion regimes, and a review on the technique progress in developed countries, the mechanical processing technique and equipment for WHA were demonstrated in detail. The principle of technique selecting and the route of WHA recycling and processing in China were also suggested in this essay.

    A basic model of semiconductor thermoelectric generator is constituted. Based on the steady conduction equation, thermodynamic process has been analyzed. Temperature function, output power and generating efficiency of p and n semiconductor are obtained. The Seebeck coefficient S of a kind of Bi-Te-Sb-Se thermoelectric material at low temperature has been experimentally researched. Based on the experiment, the function between S and T of this material has been expressed. The conclusion indicates that this kind of thermoelectric material is unsuitable for power generation at low temperature, and only the enhancement of production technology or appearance of new production method can improve the electrical power generation performance.

    Ant algorithm is a newly emerged stochastic searching optimization algorithm in recent years. It has been paid much attention to since the successful application in the famous traveling salesman problem. This paper further extends the idea of this new biological optimization strategy to vehicle routing problem with time windows in logistic management and designs a new kind of dynamic ant algorithm. The ability of optimization of this new ant algorithm is tested through numerical computation which gives encouraging results.

    According to the high iterative feature of shell and tyre structure, the multi-level substructure technique is adopted to set up the multi-body contact model between tyres and long shell. Applying parametric quadratic programming method, the multi-body contact FEM analysis of the No.2 rotary kiln in Henan Branch of China Aluminum Company is done, and the conclusions are as follows: The equivalent stress of shell at supports changes 5 times, and at other parts changes 4 times; the strength of shell at supports is weak, and at other parts is affluent; the strength of shell at the supports 2 and 3 is the weakest.

    Many cryptographic properties of m - valued logical functions are often described by their Chrestenson cyclic spectrums and auto-correlation functions, so Chrestenson cyclic spectrums and autocorrelation functions play important roles in properties and construct ions for m-valued logical functions. In this paper, in residue class ring Zm, the concept of the strict avalanche criterion of order k of m-valued logical functions is presented. Then, by applying probabilistic thought and methods, the rule that a w-valued logical function fulfills the SAC of lower order if it fulfills the SAC of higher order is proved. Finally, by Chrestenson cyclic spectrums, a necessary and sufficient condition on a m-valued logical function is given, which fulfills the strict avalanche criterion of order k.

    Risk identification is the key technology of acquisition risk management for weapon and equipment. It has a direct and essential effect on the success of acquisition risk management for weapon and equipment. This paper discusses the concept of the full life cycle, presents the principle and the procedure of acquisition risk identification. In addition to this, the paper studies the method of acquisition risk identification and puts forward the selective scheme of acquisition risk identification method in every phase of the full life cycle. In the end, the paper analyzes the risk in every phase of the weapon and equipment's full life cycle. All of this plays a basic role in the systematic management of acquisition risk for weapon and equipment.

    The ecological function division is the premise of reconciliation of economy, society and environment 3S technologies are the important guarantee of the accuracy and feasibility for the ecological function division. Taking the city of Puyang in Henan Province as an example, the characteristics and advantages of using 3S technologies for ecological function region division are demonstrated. The 3S technologies can make the data much more accurate, more close to the status quo and more scientific. The spatial analysis function can fulfill the overlay analysis of differently weighed factors. The ecological pattern which deeply influences the ecological function are sufficiently considered in the division process thanks to 3S technologies. All mentioned above greatly improve the reasonability and practical significance of the ecological function division.

    As the aim of improving the utilization ratio of SMAs in SMA-rubber seismic isolation bearings, several different SMA-rubber seismic isolation bearings were designed, and energy dissipation experiments were done. The factors which affect the level stiffness, energy dissipation and equivalent damping ratio of SMA-rubber seismic isolation bearings including level displacement amplitude, level loading frequency and vertical load were studied. Result showed that the new SMA-rubber seismic isolation bearings have better hysteresis and energy dissipation capabilities. It provided the base to optimize the SMA-rubber seismic isolation bearings.

    By analyzing the components of an activity and the relationship of the process modeling, a topological structure of the collaborative design process management system was presented. According to the situation and characteristic of the product development process, a number of the important issues about process modeling, AU design environment, process monitoring and the data exchange between systems were discussed. At last, a user interface of the collaborative design environment and the display of process monitoring are also given.

    Based on the characteristic of malleable iron, the technology of multistage heat treatment for malleable iron was investigated successfully. Compared with the present technology, the time of graphitizing annealing using new process was saved about 50% . The microstructure, with uniform distribution of fine polycrystal of graphite nuclei and full elimination of carbide, was obtained. Comprehensive mechanics performance of product exceeded that of present international standard . Two brands of KTH400 — 12 and KTZ750 - 02 can be added on the base of present international and “malleable iron” standards. Those products, such as line tool, pipe fitting for railway, engine piston of car etc, with better performances and credible qualities treated by the technology, were welcomed by users.

    Since the LEAP wireless authentication protocol is vulnerable to dictionary attacks, the flexible authentication via secure tunneling (EAP - FAST) was introduced by Cisco Corporation in 2004, which establishes a mutually authenticated protected tunnel to protect the authentication data. This friendly and easily deployable network access solution will be widely used in WLAN. The authors research and design this protocol in public wireless local area network, and implement the function of EAP - FAST peer, authenticator and FAST server in PWLAN integrate experimentation flat.

    The application of large quantities of glass wall in modern buildings challenged fire safety design, verification and acceptance. Regulations of glass wall in traditional fire code were analyzed and its advantages and disadvantages were summarized in this paper. By using performance-based fire safety design concept, fire prevention performance evaluation of glass wall was studied. Performance criteria and heat transition calculation method were put forward, and an example of evaluation of glass wall in an exhibition center was showed. The result of evaluation would provide reference to fire safety design, verification and acceptance.

    Aiming at the cracks of supporting structure of deep mixing wall, the elastoplastic behavior of internal force and deformation of deep mixing wall is analyzed in this paper. According to Mindlin plate theory, the thick plate model and three dimensional finite element model of wall are set up. Considering vertical and horizontal bending moment and tortile moment action together, equivalent bending moment is proposed in this paper to evaluate anti-bend capability of wall. Using the program developed by authors, spatial shape of horizontal displacements and equivalent bending moments of wall of supporting structure of deep mixing wall are gained. The calculation results indicate that the cracks of wall are mainly caused by strut´s loads of Huanqiu Plaza beside east of wall.

With the combination of fuzzy mathematical theory and classical modeling or intelligent methods, a brief survey on fuzzy modeling theory is also presented.
