    Under the guidance of the basic theories of TCM, acupotomology adopts the outcomes of modem science and technology including western medicine, and brings forward a new medical theory. Acupotomology is the fruit of 30-year researches and has formed a new complete theoretical system. It is one of the successful examples which have realized modernization in the basic theories of TCM. It include four basic theories and six parts. The four basic theories include the theory of closed operation, the etiology and pathology of chronic soft issue injury, the new etiology of hyperosteogeny, the etiology of spinal area and the theory of the electrophysiological conducting system existed in the human body. The six parts are the physiopathology of acupotomology, the imageology of acupotomology, the manipulation of acupotomology, the diagnostics of acupotomology, the therapeutics of acupotomology and the nursing theory of acupotomology. With many doctors, clinical practice and reseachers' deep reseach, the theories of acupotomology go on deepening and the technique is improving. The field of indication increases gradually and it has formed a unique medical subject and opens up a new road for solving various medical difficulties.

    The characteristics of food safety science and technology in EU were reviewed as a result of a scientific visit of food safety science and technology to EU member states Germany, Denmark and Sweden. Independence, reliability and notarization of food safety science and technology in EU member states were secured in two ways, i. e. the scientific research institutions of food safety were completely independent of food safety regulatory agencies in compliances with national constitutions, laws or regulations, and funding for food safety science and technology activity was subject to national budget. Food safety priorities were mediated in consistent with the features of national food production, status of national food safety and particularity of food trade in international market. The priorities of food safety science and technology mainly consist of risk assessment, establishment of Rapid Alert and Response System for food and feed and evaluation of interaction between nutrition and health. At the same time, all food safety activities, in particular risk assessment, in EU member states were implemented in broad cooperation with European Food Safety Authority, EU Commission and international organizations(FAO, WHO,CAC,OIE, etc.). The better understanding of trends and priority of EU food safety research would provide a reference for setting national food safety strategy, designing national food safety priority and figuring out the key issues of national food safety science and technology and strengthening the national food safety controlling system for China.

    The number, the height and the size of concrete dams under construction in China are the biggest ones in the world. Some important problems about concrete dams are discussed in this paper: (1) The key technique for terminating the history of “no dam without crack”.(2) Two kinds of guiding thoughts and two results of practical engineering for application of MgO concrete to dam. (3) Concrete mark based on 90 d or 180 d age is more appropriate for concrete dams than concrete class based on 28 d age . (4) The safety factor for compressive stress for the specially heigh concrete arch dam (higher than 200 m) is some what low in China (5) The equivalent stress in arch dams analysed by the finite element method.

    Intelligent calculating tools such as fuzzy optimization approaches, BP neural network and genetic algorithm are proven to be efficient when applied individually to a variety of problems. Recently,there has been a growing interest in combing all these approaches, and then, in this paper, the author organically synthesizes fuzzy optimal selection, BP neural network and genetic algorithm and establishes intelligent forecasting mode and method. When illustrating the method by an application to forecast mid and long term hydrological process of Yamadu Hydrographic Station at Yili River in Xinjiang, China, the author first selects the amount of training samples, and gets relative membership degree matrix according to the correlation of forecasting factors and forecasting objective, then takes the matrix as input of BP neural network to train link-weights, and finally, uses gained link-weight values to verify forecasting. The results are highly promising and show that the operation speed, precision and stability of intelligent forecasting mode presented in this paper can completely meet actual requirement.

    Theory,equipment and technology of controlled crystallization process for preparation of spherical materials are introduced in this paper. Especially, the preparation of spherical, high density and high activity materials for batteries are summarized. The spherical materials lead to effective surface modification.

    The current velocity of reference period is determined by the local primitive data. A method is introduced to determine the current velocity of reference period through short-range current velocity records for the area that lacks of long-range current velocity records. According to short-range current velocity records of Sutong Bridge the probability distribute mode of the current velocity is established. Presuming the extreme value by way of minority sample,the current velocity of reference period is calculated.Correlation analysis is carried out, the rationality of the calculation is validated and the regression equation is established. The calculated results provide credible technical guide to devise and construct Sutong Bridge and ensure current and wave resistance safety.

    In this paper, incomplete fuzzy information system is studied. In order to deal with it by rough set theory, fuzzy compatible relation and fuzzy rough approximation are defined by logic function. Furthermore, fuzzy covering on universe is proposed, three different operations on the coverings are formed and then some significant results are gained. Besides, with the two new definitions of fuzzy rough entropies, uncertain factors could be effectively measured, some important relationships between the varieties of uncertain factors and the strength of those entropies are discussed carefully. Finally, knowledge dependency in rough set theory is transformed to fuzzy knowledge dependency in the incomplete fuzzy information system. A new method for measuring the strength of partial fuzzy knowledge dependency is proposed. Some immediate theorems are proved.

    The mathematical models of contact pressure distribution between rolling ring and shell under intermittent contact are set up, the formulae of bending moment and bending stress of tyre are obtained. By applying nominal stress method and local stress-strain method, the fatigue life prediction model of rolling ring is built. The results show that the fatigue life can be improved greatly if the rolling ring load can be controlled within 2 500 kN after kiln alignment. The support angle 30° of rolling ring is unreasonable. There exits an optimal angle which will enhance rolling ring life to the utmost.

    A VAV system can be treated as a multi-agent system. In this paper, a multi-agent-based distributed intelligent control method is presented to solve the problem of concordance and decoupling in the VAV system. A simulation program of VAV system is set up for control analysis. Through a simulation, this control method has been proved to be satisfactory.

    In this paper, the theories, techniques, methodologies, and results of monitoring primary fractures connecting to the injection well in Anpeng Alkali Mine are presented, which combines micro-seismic monitoring with leveling survey techniques. By these theories, techniques and methodologies, the production well was located within the fractured band connecting to the injection well at a depth of over 1 000 meters, which makes it possible for continuous water injection and alkali solution production in Anpeng Alkali Mine.

    In this paper, a time-cost-quality trade-off optimization model is set up by using multi-objective optimization theory and multi-attribute utility function theory. By applying network planning techniques and genetic algorithms to the model, the most satisfied decision result as well as several near satisfied alternative results can be obtained, which can be used to control the project investment. In the paper, a case study is given to verify the feasibility and practicability of the model. The application analysis and the results show that the model has practical value to some extent.

    In the process of water mist fire suppression the phenomenon of fire expansion may be found initially. Experiments and theoretic study show that evaporation of mist on the surface of fuel plays a crucial role in the fire expansion. In experiments of varied conditions, it is found that volatility of fuel and characteristics of water mist determine the degree of fire intensification. It is found that water in the bottom of tray will make fuel surface temperature and fire heat release rate descend. And with increase of water quantity, fire intensification will be weakened, extinguishing time also be shortened. So further research on change of fire heat release rate owing to water pouring is necessary to ensure the reliability of experiment data.

    The issue studies, in virtue of simulation, temperature control system in air-conditioned coach by fuzzy and PID control methods. The simulation results show that PID control can eliminates steady-state error, but the overtune is big, transitional time is long. And PID control can only suit for air conditioning condition with small variation. For the condition with big variation and time delay, fuzzy control can track the load changes and obtain a better synthetic control quality than PID.

    This paper introduces the concept of water mist technology, and discusses its extinguishment mechanism in comparison with other fire suppression systems briefly. Water mist has demonstrated some advantages in suppressing electrical and electronic fires (class C fires) .The electric characteristic of water mist, the variation law of breakdown strength to electrical equipment with water mist applied, the suspending and the smoke scrubbing ability of water mist are expatiated with a viea to the experimental results carried out by others. The investigation on efficiency and feasibility of water mist used in computer room and other electrical environment is thoroughly reviewed, and the working stability of electrical equipment with water mist applied is described. Effects of water mist diameter and velocity, water mist flux and barrier on water mist fire extinguishment efficiency are analyzed, and the application actuality of water mist in electrical environment is introduced.
