    Based on prototype analysis of epidemic disease and ancient therapy (such as iron method, fire moxibustion and acupuncture therapy) , the author has explored the relationship between epidemic disease (especially bubonic plague) and medicine origin. From the point of view that medicine comes of epidemic disease, the author has conducted research on rich resources of Chinese cultural relics, ancient writing and medical literature on medicine history, including the difference between ancient name and modem name of disease, difference between TCM and Western medicine in terms of methodology. It would provide precious reference for the analysis and promotion of TCM achievement on epidemic disease and for the research on combination of TCM and Western medicine, sustainable development of TCM and international promotion of TCM.

    To date, conventional design is gradually converted to modem design. As a synthetic technology, the digitized design technology contains the latest technologies in modem design, and as the premise of it. In this paper, the property of digitized design technology is analyzed based on the definition of it and the present research hot spots of digitized design at home and abroad, namely, CACD, KEB, VP are given. The digitized design technology being used in machinery (taking agricultural machinery as example) and its development trend in future, which gives prominence to products innovation design, thinks much of virtual reality technology, and emphasizes cooperative design and manufacture, are also discussed. The application of digitized design will lead to revolutionary change in agricultural machinery design and manufacture.

    In 1984, the Shachan-2 well, located in Tarim Basin and with a large amount of oil and gas flow, was discovered. It set forth the significant breakthrough as an important milestone in prospecting for oil present in paleozoic marine facies in China. After the Shachan-2 well discovery, many oil fields, including the Tahe Oil-gas Field were discovered in Tarim Basin and a new oil-gas theory of the paleozoic marine facies was advanced. These processes reflect independent innovation in the exploration of paleozoic marine facies oil-gas field. It is of great help to further oil-gas exploration in the paleozoic marine facies field.

    The paper proposed a principle of interaction between plastic volume strains of and shear for rock and soil. The main meanings of the principle were further explained. Especially, the manners of the interaction between plastic volume strain and shear strain, the direct effect of plastic volume strain on the resistance to shear, the conditions of generating contraction and expansion of volume, the fact that the dependence of stress path is a comprehensive performance form of the interaction between the plastic volume strain and shear and its verification, and the fact that the critical state is a pure shearing process, in which the plastic and elastic volume strains remain constant, were demonstrated. In addition, according to this principle, it was theoretically proved that the space critical state line exists and is unique and independent of the stress history.

    This paper investigates the use of the adaptive robust controller for improving control performance and stability of the centrifuge. Based on its structural merit that the electric motor is connected to the centrifuge, the implementation of a control system is expected to achieve satisfactory control performance. An adaptive robust control algorithm of the centrifuge is presented in the paper, and the adaptive robust controller is designed according to the centrifuge model. The effectiveness of the algorithm is verified by the experimental results. It is clarified that the control performance and stability of the centrifuge is improved and the control system still maintains satisfactory control performance despite the change of environment conditions.

    Based on the Runyang Yangtze River Highway Bridge, which consiss of one cable-stayed bridge of South Branch and one suspension bridge of North Branch, the three-dimensional overall bridge model was established using the FEM numerical simulation to analyze the bridge deformation and mechanical performance. And a global-local analysis method was proposed to study the mechanical properties of surfacing. The shape of suspension bridge has large effects on the mechanical performances of the surfacing. The tensile stress obtained in this paper is significantly bigger than those by the traditional model. For the central section of the cable-stayed bridge, the mechanical indexes values of the surfacing obtained by this method are little bigger than those by the traditional model; otherwise, for the other sections of the main girder that undertake the horizontal component compression of the cable, the tensile stress values of the surfacing are little smaller than those by the traditional model.

    Basing on substructure analysis, original research on multi-stage model updating method (MSMUM) is presented to reduce the uncertainties in traditional model updating process. The kernel philosophy of the multi-stage model updating method is used to update a complicated FE model with multi steps, i. e. firstly localize the model errors and then update the error parameters. Comparing with the computed results, it is shown that the error localization methods and the parameter updating methods developed here are fine. As a case study, the model of the Runyang Nancha suspension bridge tower is updated with the MSMUM. Comparing the updated FE model here with the updated model using traditional updating method, it could be concluded that the multi-stage updating method is more effective.

    PV/T solar-assisted heat pump system (PV/T-SAHP) was presented in this paper and model of the PV/T-SAHP system was made up in this study. Simulation result showed that the electrical efficiency and the thermal performance of PV/T-SAHP is better than the traditional heat pump water heater system or the traditional photovoltaic system. It is proposed that the area of PV/T module,the tilt angel of PV/T module and the distance of refrigerant pipes are the three key factors of the PV/T-SAHP system optimization design.

    The way of computing the cyclic cumulant of cyclostationary signal of unknown cyclic frequency is studied, the nth-order lag product of the input cyclostationary signal is analyzed and the way of decreasing the used EMS memory and the time of compute is studied. By the analysis of simulation testing data of phase modulation signal, the cyclic bispectrum is showed to be effective. And the cyclic bispectrum is used to analysis of the industrial vibration data of the rotating machine and proves to be effective.

    Most static production scheduling problems are formulated in MILP ( mixed integer linear programming) or MINLP(mixed integer non-linear programming) . It is difficult to find solutions of scheduling because of its large scale and combinatorial characters. According to the features of MIP (mixed integer programming), integral variables and continuous variables are separated and the searching space is decomposed naturally into many continuous subspaces of less scale. Taking a typical batch production scheduling as a case, the analysis shows that variable-separating strategy decreases the scale of continuous searching problem greatly and makes it easy to solve, which can improve the speed and efficiency of optimization.

    In HVAC systems, there exist severe nonlinearity, time-varying nature, disturbances and uncertainty. A novel predictive functional control strategy based on Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model was developed in order to settie the difficulty to control HVAC systems. The T - S fuzzy model of controlled process was obtained using the least squares method, then basing on the fuzzy T - S global linear predictive model, the process was controlled by the predictive functional control strategy. Finally, the simulation results in HVAC systems control application showed that the proposed fuzzy model predictive functional control approach improves tracking effect and robustness. Compared with the conventional PID control approaches, this FPFC approach has better dynamical performance such as less overshoot and shorter regulation time, etc.

    Mesh network supported by IEEE802.16-2004 wireless-MAN standard is a fresh network combining tree network and ad hoc network. Aimed at the weakness both in security and efficiency of one-hop one-way authentication SA (security association) mechanism employed by Mesh network, an multi-hops mutual authentication SA mechanism associated with hypo- optimal self-modified routing is proposed. Compared with the one-hop one-way mechanism, this one is of forward security and immune to middle attacks, which also lessens system cost and time delay in transmission. The employment of self-modified routing before touting establishment in management information transaction can also reduce the delay of service-flow creation. Subsequently, the security of multi-hops mutual mechanism is proved by security analysis, followed by the efficiency comparison which introduces the efficiency advantage of this mechanism.

    Recovery and utilization of landfill biogas can not only reduce greenhouse effect but recover energy. This article presents the principle and process of landfill biogas generation, and classifies reported models on biogas generation from landfills. Systematic summary and analysis of methodologies, advantages, disadvantages and application conditions, which will provide credible methods for biogas recovery, are put forward also.

    The purpose of the article is to regard city as the object and work out a set of methods of assessment of risk. The improved technology of assessment of risk for urban major hazards and the method of quantization are studied. Principle of “level-superposed” of the grade of security is brought forward. Analyzing the possibility of all kinds of calamities to take place, confirming the grade of security relative to city of the kind calamity, and superposing its coefficient correlation in certain proportion, this paper gets the synthetical security atlas similar to the real one based on urban geography and urban resource. The evaluation index of social risk is set up based on the distributed comprehensive density of population, thus comprehensive safe planning to the dangerous source in the city can be carried on. At last, an example for providing the visual safe grade of city and the divided electronic map is given. The exploration work of this text can offer reference for relevant research work, which is also significant to improve the engineering level of urban assessment of risk, to prevent and control the emergence of great malignants accidents effectively such as fire, explosion, poisonous substance leakage, etc. , and to offer the scientific decision basis for city safety management.

    The principles implied in the process of EFP(explosively formed projectile) impacting the plate covered explosive and the ceramic composite armor have provided the evidence for calculating the residual velocity of EFP(explosive formed projectile) impacting a new integrated armor, and a calculation model has been induced. It is proved that although the integrated armor and the ceramic composite armor have the same facial density, the protective performance of integrated armor is better than the ceramic composite armor. This calculation model can be used in the design of integrated armor. Meanwhile, according to this model the goal of EFP resistance armor can be established.

    Aiming at the characteristics of the high building fire, setting the fire site scene, this paper carries out stage partition for fire on the angle of the countermeasure for fire, conducts accident analysis aiming at every stage applying FEA and ETA,finds out the related factors that affects fire development and stretch,and establishes the multiple-levels index system of high building fire hazard assessment. This index system can offer scientific basis for safe management of building, and can also lay the foundation for high building fire hazard assessment.
