Prof. Campos-Arceiz’s main research interests and expertise are within ecology and conservation of Asian megafauna, especially elephants, human-wildlife conflicts, especially human-elephant conflicts, seed dispersal, conservation policy and governance, especially in Southeast Asia, local capacity building, diversity, equity, and inclusion in science and conservation.

Professor Li's research focuses on the synergy between biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. Her research covers conservation planning under climate change and the One Health framework, endangered and endemic vertebrate species conservation, priority setting and management of protected areas, and sustainable infrastructure and bird window collisions in urban areas. She promotes the use of innovative technology, market tools, citizen science and policies to solve conservation problems and assist sustainable development of local communities.

Prof. Yang’s major research interests are to document traditional knowledge of plant use by applying ethnobotanical approach, and then some state-in-the-art technologies in phytochemistry, pharmacology, molecular biology, reproductive ecology and evolutionary biology, are employed in the study of useful plants, especially herbal medicine or ethno-medicine.
