Aims & scope

Frontiers of Mathematics in China publishes English translations of selected outstanding Chinese-language mathematics papers. The journal aims to promptly disseminate important mathematical advances from China to the international mathematics community and to promote academic exchange between China and the rest of the world. The selected papers cover all major branches of mathematics, both pure and applied, including core areas such as geometry, algebra, topology, number theory, real and complex analysis, functional analysis, probability theory, combinatorics and graph theory, dynamical systems, and differential equations, as well as applied areas such as statistics, computational mathematics, numerical analysis, mathematical biology, and mathematical finance. The journal particularly encourages the selection of papers that demonstrate interactions between different areas of mathematics, or between mathematics and science and engineering.
