With the rapid advancements of artificial intelligence (AI), large language models (LLMs) are becoming transformative tools in education, offering new opportunities to enhance teaching, personalize learning, and support instruction process. LLMs, equipped with the capability to understand, generate, and respond to human languages, are revolutionizing how students interact with educational content, and how educators create tailored learning experiences.
The main objective of this special issue is to bring together innovative research and practical insights from scholars, educators, and technology developers focusing on integrating LLMs in educational settings. This special issue aims at advancing the understanding of how LLMs can enhance traditional and online learning environments, promote students’ success, and support educators in delivering effective and personalized instruction.
We invite authors to submit original research to this special issue in the following potential topics. The topics will include, but will not be limited to:
