Eye & ENT Research is a forum for fundamental, mechanistic and clinical research of relevance to human diseases in ophthalmology or otolaryngology, and the sensory system, including vision, hearing, smell and others, and from various disciplines including biochemistry, biophysics, cellular biology, stem cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, pathology, physiology, pharmacology, and advanced biological therapeutics. The journal publishes manuscripts of the high quality pertaining to basic biology and clinical medicine of ophthalmology, otolaryngology and allied fields. The journal encourages the submission of work that uses state-of-the-art approaches to illuminate mechanisms and advanced therapies of human disease. A special welcome is extended to fundamental discovery, translational research and clinical research that provide new clues or insights to the frontier of this field. Current areas of interest also include, but are not limited to:
Ophthalmology and vision sciences.
Otolaryngology and sciences of hearing, olfaction and others.
Basic and pre-clinical research for diseases in sensory system.
Concept update and biological studies of sensory system.
Phase I, phase II, and phase III clinical trial studies for new drugs or therapies.
Reviews oriented to the both the practicing side and bench side, with focusing on diagnostic puzzles and improvement, treatment bottleneck and development.
