Chang-He LiChang-He Li is a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, a distinguished expert of Taishan Scholars in Shandong Province, Shandong Excellent Inventor, Shandong Excellent Scientific and Technological Worker, Shandong Famous Teacher of Teaching and Shandong Excellent Postgraduate Instructor, Global Highly Cited Scientists released by Clarivate, Highly Cited Chinese Researcher of Elsevier, one of the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2022, Top 0.05% of Global Leading Scientists in 2024 and Lifetime Scientific Impact Scientists released by the United States Stanford University. He is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Abrasive Processing Professional Committee of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, member of the Standing Committee of the Optical Finishing Professional Committee of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the Editorial Board Member of Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering and Green Manufacturing Open, Guest Editor of International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering, and Associate Editor of Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering. He has published 247 SCI/EI-accepted papers, including 77 in SCI/JCR (1-2), and 53 ESI highly cited papers, 20 hot papers, with a total of more than 11 224 citations (Web of Science), and is ranked the 25th in the list of academic influence of scholars in China in 2022 (only 70 people in China in the field of Mechanical Engineering). He is selected as the 24th academic influence of domestic scholars in 2022, and has a high academic status and popularity in the same field at home and abroad. He has constructed a high-value patent cluster covering the upstream and downstream industrial chain in different regions such as the United States, Australia, Germany, etc., with 426 invention patents, 74 high-impact patents, and the patents have been cited by 920 patentees from the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, etc., for 2 074 times.

Wen-Feng DingWen-Feng Ding is a professor and Ph.D. supervisor at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He has been recognized as a Mid-aged and Young Academic Leader under Jiangsu Province’s “Qinglan Project” and a High-level Talent in Jiangsu’s “Six Talent Peaks” Program. His distinctions include being named to Elsevier’s Chinese Highly Cited Researchers and the World’s Top 2% Scientists ranking released by Stanford University. His research focuses on high-performance cutting/grinding processing technologies for aero-engine and transmission components. He has led over 20 major research projects, including the Major Program, General Program, and Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Gas Turbine Science Center Project, and Civil Aircraft Special Projects. He has received 3 Second-Class Prizes in Jiangsu Provincial and National Defense Science and Technology Awards. As a supervisor, he has mentored recipients of 3 Outstanding Doctoral Dissertations (awarded by National first-class Professional Societies and Jiangsu Province) and 8 Outstanding master’s theses. He has authored/co-authored 154 papers (136 SCI-indexed) as first or corresponding author. Additionally, he serves as Member of the Extreme Manufacturing Committee under the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society.

Ben-Kai LiBen-Kai Li is a master’s Supervisor at Qingdao University of Technology. He has received 9 research awards, including: Shandong Provincial Patent Award, Qingdao Science and Technology Progress Award and Qingdao Natural Science Award. As the first author, he has published 14 high-impact papers, with an H-index of 21 and 2 751 total citations on Web of Science. He holds 4 granted invention patents, among which one patent is awarded the First Prize of Shandong Provincial Patent Award. He has led the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Program.
