His research focuses on development of atomic layer deposition for the applications in smart textiles and heterogeneous catalysis.

Zhiyu Huangreceived his master's degree from Wuhan Textile University in 2022. He is currently a PhD student in the School of Textiles and Clothing at Qingdao University. His research focuses on the high-value recycling of waste cotton textiles, such as the preparation of multifunctional cellulose aerogel fibers.

Zihui Liangis a Lecturer in National Local Joint Laboratory for Advanced Textile Processing and Clean Production at Wuhan Textile University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Hubei University in 2020. His research focuses on fiber functionalization, smart textiles, and wearable flexible electronics.

Xin Liuis a professor in School of Materials Science and Engineering at Wuhan Textile University. He received his Ph.D. degree at Donghua University in 2011. His research focuses on polymer matrix composite materials, new fiber material processing technology, and surface modification of fiber materials.

Yong Qinis a Professor in Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Ocean University of China in 2005. His research focuses on nanocatalysis, heterogeneous catalysis, and atomic layer deposition.

Fengxiang Chenis an Associate Professor in State Key Laboratory of New Textile Materials and Advanced Processing Technologies at Wuhan Textile University. He received his Ph.D. degree at Hubei University in 2017. His research focuses on functional fiber materials and devices.

Weilin Xuis an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the President of Wuhan Textile University, China. He received the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars award in 2013. He is the First Prize Winner of the National Science and Technology Progress in 2009. His research focuses on textile materials, textile processing technology, dyeing and finishing, biomedical textiles and natural fiber materials.
