Abdul Qadeer Khanis currently a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Zunfeng Liu in State Key Laboratory of Medicinal Chemical Biology, College of Chemistry, Nankai University. He received his Master degree in 2022 from Nankai University. Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) 2019, 2022 Scholar winner for Masters and PhD at Nankai University, China. His main research interests are artificial spider silk, artificial muscles, hydrogen bonding, and polymer synthesis.

He received his B.S. in 2019 from Inner Mongolia University of Technology. His main research interests are the fabrication of artificial spider silk and torsional twist caloric cooling.

She received her B.S. in 2015 and M.S. in 2018 from University of Jinan. Her main research interests are the fabrication and applications of artificial muscles, actuators and biosensors.

Xuesong Zhangis a PhD student from University of Science and Technology Liaoning, and is an exchange student supervised by Professor Zunfeng Liu in State Key Laboratory of Medicinal Chemical Biology, College of Chemistry, Nankai University. She received her Master degree in 2013 from University of Science and Technology Liaoning. Her main research interests are polymer synthesis, artificial muscles, film actuator and coal for coking.

Baigang Anis a professor of University of Science and Technology Liaoning, China. He received his Ph.D in Applied Chemistry at Tianjin University in 2003 supervise by Prof. Shizhe Song. He worked as a research fellow in Tohoku University Japan and a visiting scholar in Michigan University. His current research interests include synthesis and application of nanomaterials in electrochemical storage and conversion of energy.

Bin Feiis an Associate Professor in the School of Fashion & Textiles, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He obtained his PhD in 2003 from the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include functional fashion and smart yarn, regenerative biomaterial and green nanotechnology, biomimic catalysis and sustainable energy. He has been involved in the Top 2% Scientists of the world in polymers (2020).

Dr. Muhammad Shafiqobtained his doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering from Korea Institute of Science & Technology (KIST), Seoul, South Korea in 2018. He worked as a research fellow at Donghua University, Shanghai, China along with Prof. Xiumei Mo on a project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Dr. Shafiq is an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Central Punjab (UCP), Lahore, Pakistan. Dr. Shafiq has published his research in renowned journals, such as Biomaterials and Acta Biomaterilia. His research interests include polymer synthesis and modification, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, and biomimetic materials.

Zunfeng Liuis a Professor in College of Chemistry, Nankai University. He received his Ph.D. from Nankai University in 2008. From 2008 to 2012, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Project Leader in Erasmus Medical center and Leiden University (Netherlands). From 2013 to 2016, he was a Professor at Changzhou University. His research expertise is in the area of wearable electronics, artificial muscles and actuators, especially the development of highly stretchable electronic interconnects, smart fibers, and artificial muscles.
