Abstract

In this article we analyze a possible medical background and anthropometrical preconditions for a development ofsymphysiolis in groups of pregnant women with pelvic girdle pain syndrome (PPGP) and symptom-free pregnant controls. In PPGG-group there were also a statistically higher percentage of neuromuscular disorders including radiculopathy, cervicalgia, thoracalgia, back pain, low back pain, degenerative disc disease, myositis and migraines.
