    The paper presents the results of experimental studies on the flocculation of waste by anionic polyacrylamide flocculants. The features of the structure of flocs formed by orthokinetic and perikinetic mechanisms are revealed. Rheological curves of the waste slurry of coal flotation, including the use of flocculants, are obtained.

    This article is the third part of the work devoted to plasma chemical processing of plastic waste (and other toxic organic compounds) into hydrogen and other liquid products. The obtained results are crucial to solving global environmental and energy challenges of our time. The article presents a brief overview of the experimental and theoretical works devoted to the study and application of various types of plasma chemical technologies. On the base of the overview, the authors selected the most efficient plasma chemical reactor for recycling of plastic waste into hydrogen and other available hydrocarbon production.

    The paper considers the possibility of obtaining any desired law of motion of an output link in four- link mechanism by intracyclic change of the length of any link. The analytic dependence for determination of the law of variation of link lengths, providing the desired kinematic characteristics of the output link, is derived. The author gives an example of the waveform of displacement and velocity of the operating link of a prototype with slider-crank drive, providing constancy of the speed of the operating link in a given range of motion.

    The authors propose a method for testing plastics endurance under plane transverse bending with a given cyclic deformation. The paper describes the relations for the calculation of the amount of deflection, rotation angles of the end parts of a sample and the technological gap d between the pins in movable supports and a model for the transverse bending of a sample, the properties of which are given by linear-elastic and nonlinear elastic (according to power law) models. To determine the dependence of stresses on the number of cycles before sample failure, the authors propose the method for estimating stress with the use of the dependence of stresses on the number of cycles before failure and stress-deformation dependence, obtained in quasi-static tests under "instantaneous" loading.

    The article presents the results of public service enterprises wastewater biotesting, which contain surfactants and model solutions in comparison with the colloidal-chemical properties. It is established that the maximum allowable concentration of surface active agents coincides with the concentration of saturation of the adsorption layers, which is determined by the isotherm of surface tension. This allows you to replace the tedious and less accurate biotesting measurement to the surface tension of surface active agents solutions to normalize indicators of wastewater.

    Venues of natural drying are the most common constructions of waste water sludge treatment in Russia. The process of dewatering on sludge banks includes 3 steps of removing water from the sediment: gravitational compaction, filtration and drying. The changes in the physicochemical properties of the digested sludge of urban wastewater are studied during the process of natural drying and freezing in the sludge banks. It was found out that the best water returning properties has sediment, frozen at a small negative temperature, characterized by low velocities of the ice front.

    The importance of the problem of surface ozone concentration and its influence on both working conditions and the environment have been presented in the article. It is said that world scientists are engaged in finding the ways to solve the problem. The necessity of the station networks development for monitoring surface ozone concentration in the Russian Federation has been stated. Several ways of protection from excessive ozone concentration are suggested.
