Minimization of energy consumption in the cooling systems of supercomputers

Abstract

Thermodynamic assessment of the water equivalents cooling streams and associated energy costs in heat transfer systems were obtained. As an example, authors investigated the ability limits of energy consumption for cooling systems of supercomputers. Comparison of air systems using heat sink and cooling towers was made.
