Specificity of functioning of binary dichotomies in phraseology through the prism of linguistic and cultural studies (based on English and Russian languages)
The article discusses the features of the functioning confronting categories in phraseological fund of English and Russian languages. The author carries out a comparative analysis of phraseological units, illustrating the specificity of functioning of idioms within a given dichotomy. There are the conclusions about the patterns of phraseology functioning within the dyad.
