The efficacy of ozonotherapy applied for the combined rehabilitative treatment of the patients following surgical management of endometrial cancer
The objective of the present study was to estimate the influence of ozonotherapy introduced into the combined rehabilitative treatment on the characteristics of lipid peroxidation and immune status in the patients who underwent surgical treatment of endometrial cancer. Ozonotherapy was shown to restore the pro- and antioxidant balance and have immunomodulating action. These effects give grounds to recommend the inclusion of ozonotherapy in the combined postoperative rehabilitative treatment of such patients.
