In about 180 patients with celiac artery compression syndrome was successfully performed open surgical decompression of the celiac artery. The 180 patients were performed ultrasound duplex scanning of celiac artery and superior mesenteric artery pre operation, intra operation, before and after decompression of the celiac artery, and after 2 months or more after. The main indicators of trans-abdominal and intra-abdominal duplex ultrasonography were quite informative in the diagnosis and evaluation of decompression celiac artery. Trans-abdominal and intra-abdominal ultrasoundduplex scanning should be used in the surgical treatment of patients with celiac artery compression syndrome.
