Dr. S. M. Alekseev in urology and Dr. V. P. Vorobyov in pediatrics were awarded the title of associate professor by the Kazan State University Medical Faculty. The latter, as he had been successfully giving compulsory courses in pediatrics for several years, was awarded this rank without the usual trial lectures.
