Abstract

Dr. Vostrikov describes an interesting case from his practice. A young man, a certain J., had the misfortune to shoot off his penis almost to the root with complete disintegration of both testicles. Having recovered from the wound and having a peculiar idea of the miracles of modern surgery, he killed his fellow villager, also a young man, five months after the accident, and cut off his penis (leaving his testicles in place), then threw the corpse into the river, and with the cut off penis he went to a neighboring hospital with a request to sew on his penis. Unfortunately, this case remained unexplained in detail, as J. fled after his crime.
