Gonococcus antiviralis. Веrtаrеlli (Ann. de l'Inst. Past., 1928, No. 4)
After a number of attempts, Professor Веrtаrеlli succeeded in producing a gonococcal antivirus for the local treatment of gonorrhea according to the Besredka method. He used gonococcal cultures obtained on Leboeuf medium (liver broth with agar) and filtered three times, first through a Berkefeld filter, then through a Сhamberland filter. The author promises to report the results of the clinical application of the antiviral later.
