The harm of abortion. Liepmann "Die Abtreibung"
Liepmann, in his recently published book "Die Abtreibung", breaks down with very convincing data the popular opinion that fetal abortion is safe. He argues that termination of pregnancy is often a difficult operation, even for an experienced physician. Statistics show that in Germany there are up to 500,000 abortions a year, of which 80% are induced abortions. The overall mortality rate is 5%, i.e. 25,000 deaths per year.
