Camphor phenol as a prophylactic agent for aseptic operations. Dr. Karl Urban (Zentralbl. F. Chir., 1933. No. 35) performed over 8000 aseptic operations over 8 years, where, before closing the skin wound, he injected subcutaneously 10-20 drops of camphor phenol.
