Symptoms of dullness and retraction of the eye in pulmonary tuberculosis
Old authors (Yanovskiy, Kornet) noted vivid, phosphoric, shiny eyes as a symptom of pulmonary tuberculosis. Often these lively, glowing and even sometimes sparkling eyes are replaced by a special shade, as if a slight veil, with dullness of the sclera and cornea, with a simultaneous retraction of the eyeball (enophthalmus).
