On the issue of the spread of brucellosis in the city of Sverdlovsket
Until 1930, the Ural region was considered free from brucellosis diseases. In 1931, an endemic focus of Maltese fever was discovered for the first time in the Bredinsky district at the Sheep Breeder state farm. The transmitters of the infection were sheep transported to this state farm from the North Caucasus. In 1932, endemic centers were also identified in the Kizpl, Zverinogolovsky and Kurgan districts. data and limited our information about brucellosis in the Ural region.
