Platelets after splenectomy. Galloway (Pr. Med. 1932, 19)
A. operated on 3 patients with thrombocytopenia. The number of plates increased, reached a maximum (up to 1,000,000) on the 11th day after the operation, then decreased and remained at numbers close to the initial ones.
