Bilirubin and indican in the blood of pregnant women were investigated by Eufinger. Bilirubin is formed not only in liver cells, but also in the entire reticuloendothelial system. The author investigated its content in the blood of 80 women using direct and indirect samples v. d. Bergh'a.
