Surgical treatment of duodenal ulcers. Devine (Surg., gyn. a. obst., 1925, No. 1)
Devine notes the difficulty of surgical treatment of old, callous ulcers on the posterior wall of the duodenum: resection of these ulcers is always difficult and dangerous, gastroenterostomy is often accompanied by their recurrence.
