A new way of closing the fistulas of the parotid gland. Hesse (Zentr. F. Chir., 1926, No. 22)
A new method of parotid gland fistula closure is suggested by Hesse. First, an oval fistula is bordered with a small skin incision, the ends of which are supplemented with a 1—11/2-centimeter incision. The direction of the incision depends on the position of the fistula, but more often the incision should be horizontal.
