Dysmenorrhea as a constitutional disorder Hirsch (Zentr. f. Gyn., 1923, № 39)
Completely denying mechanical dysmenorrhea and recognizing the previous ideas about the so-called. nervous dysmeporrhea imprecise and unsatisfactory, Hirsch (Zentr. f. Gyn., 1923, no. 39) considers dysmenorrhea of one and the other kind of constitutional disorder. Reviewing the cases of dysmenorrhea that he observed in private practice for 10 years, he found that 85% of these patients can be attributed to asthenics (schizoids), 2% to picnics and 13% to special dysplastic types.
