Heart defects and pregnancy Frey (Zentr. f. Gyn., 1923, № 40)
Analyzing this issue on a large clinical material, Frey (Zentr. F. Gyn., 1923, No. 40) found that the prognosis of heart defects in pregnant women is generally favorable, while this also applies to mitral stenosis. Much more important in this regard is the state of the heart muscle, as well as the presence or absence of inflammatory processes in the heart.
