Organization of nursing premature babies

From 1960 to 1970, 69Ѳ premature babies (323 boys and 367 girls) were admitted to the newborn department of our maternity hospital, 89 of them died (12.8 ° / o) - The mortality rate of premature males is significantly higher than that of females (16 , 3 and 9.8%). Of the total number of deaths in 80% of cases, death occurred in the first week after birth.
