Iron content in the blood of healthy and isoimmunized pregnant women, women in labor and their newborns
119 pregnant women and women in labor were examined: 68 with rhesus-conflict pregnancies, 38 with Rh-negative blood affiliation, but not immunized (control group 1) and 13 with re-positive blood affiliation (control group 2), as well as 115 of their newborns, of which 55 suffered hemolytic disease, and the rest were healthy.
