About the so-called Burnett syndrome
In 1949, Burnett et al. described a symptom complex that developed in 6 sick men who suffered from peptic ulcer disease or peptic ulcer syndrome and had consumed large amounts of milk and alkali for a long time. We observed 1 patient with a similar symptom complex.
