Professor Nikolai Konstantinovich Goryaev
Professor NK Goryaev (1875-1943) made a valuable contribution to medical science and, above all, to hematology. He was one of the founders of this field of medicine and a generally recognized authority in our country and abroad. According to the unanimous opinion of the majority of researchers, the grid he proposed for counting blood cells ("Goryaev's grid") is still the most accurate and convenient to use.
