Years of experience with caesarean section
For 13 years (1954-1966) 575 caesarean sections were performed in maternity hospital No. 1 in Perm, which is 1.95% of the total number of births (29,434). Classical caesarean section was performed in 329 women (57.22%), in the lower segment of the uterus with a transverse incision - in 246 (42.78%).
