Tasks for the ideological work of scientific medical societies in the light of the decisions of the XXVI Congress of the CPSU
The fundamental features of the modern era predetermined the special attention that the 26th Party Congress paid to the problems of ideological work. Noting the change in the modern conditions in which ideological work is being carried out, namely, the significant enrichment of knowledge, the increased culture of the Soviet people, the expansion of the arsenal of the party's ideological means, on the one hand, and the increase in the activity of the propaganda means of the class enemy, on the other, Comrade L. I. Brezhnev in the report of the Central Committee of the CPSU he pointed out that the new phenomena and circumstances, the enormous possibilities of our propaganda are not yet fully used. We must strive to make the content of ideological work more relevant, and its forms meet the modern demands and needs of the Soviet people.
