On some organizational issues in the treatment and prevention of stomach cancer

Abstract

Among the problems of practical oncology, the treatment of gastric cancer occupies an important place, since this localization of cancer accounts for 20-30% of the total number of patients with newly diagnosed cancer, and among those dying from malignant tumors, up to 40%. For Kazan, these indicators are presented in the following table.
