About Lipogenin
In 1896 at the All-Russian Exhibition in Nizhny-Novgorod, in the department of the Kazan firm br. Krestovnikovs, one fat-like substance was exhibited under the name "Lipogenin", intended for use in medicine. among local doctors, who used it as a perceiving medium for ointments.
