The main directions of health care reform in the Republic of Mari El
In 1989-1992 in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the USSR, medical institutions of the Republic of Mari El made the transition to new business conditions. During the implementation of the Regulations on the new economic mechanism, the principles of pricing and recommendations for calculating tariffs for medical services, the conditions for budget financing of healthcare institutions in cities and districts according to differentiated gender and age standards, the system of payment by central district hospitals for consultative and diagnostic care to patients in republican and Yoshkar-Ola city hospitals and dispensaries.
