Psychological defense mechanisms of patients with epilepsy AND FACTORS DETERMINING THEIR

Abstract

Expression of individual defense mechanisms in patients and healthy people varies. Leading psychological defense mechanism of patients with epilepsy – regression, and the vast majority of these patients have a disability group. Several defense mechanisms are associated with specific clinical and psycho-parameters, which leads to the predominance of a particular type of personal protective behaviors.
