Abstract

We studied the peculiarities of cardiovascular systems in patients suffering ischemic heart disease in association with chronic obstructive lung diseases. We recruited 100 patients divided into two groups; 50 with IHD and 50 with COPD and IHD. All patients were investigated using echocardiography and spirometry. Deterioration of the structural and functional parameters of cardiorespiratory function was revealed in patients with combined pathology.
